How Forgiving Are You?

"I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business." Michael J. Fox

If we were judged solely by our errors, we would all fall short in the trial of life.

Resilience is shown when we believe that our mistakes are not a definition of our worth.

It's in the delicate balance between our accomplishments and our missteps that compassion emerges. Compassion, both for ourselves and for others. It is there, when we accept the imperfections that make us human.

When we embrace resilience, we are better equipped to navigate the trials that life presents.

Just as compassion encourages us to forgive and understand the mistakes of others, resilience teaches us to extend the same kindness to ourselves.

In the grand journey of life, we must remember that the pursuit of perfection is unattainable and often leads to unnecessary stress and self-criticism.

Resilience and compassion offer a more balanced and realistic perspective. They both encourage us to acknowledge our strengths while embracing our vulnerabilities.

So, let's remember that judgment based solely on mistakes does not define us; rather, it's our capacity for resilience and compassion that truly shapes who we are.
